Picked up a Blackhawk S4 have a question.

Picked up this jack from a friends neighbor for $75. They told me it did not work but turns out it works fine. Although while changing the fluid i found a bushing of some sort in the reservoir and was wondering if anybody knew where it supposed to go or what it does. Thanks guys.

It appears to be a copper washer, someone at one time or another did some valve work and either didn't replace one or it fell into the reservoir when inspecting components etc.
