Picked up a couple of Portable Toolboxes

Found these today at a garage sale, $40 for both of them, guys said the Red Homak box was a military issue one, didn't know too much about the craftsmans.

I wanted to know if anyone could tell me when they where made. The craftsman has a 6500 on it thats the only marking, and the Homak has nothing but the plate.

The Craftsman is fairly new, probably 1980s. I have one just like it.
