Hello guys!

I haven't been posting much because I got into guns (rimfire) and I was learning all about my new rifles and handgun for target practice. I have to post about my sk x frame POS experience and other tools too...

Ok back to topic, any advice to reinforce anything or do/ modify anything to the cart while Im putting it together?

I find that my old HF car has a flimsy bottom where the wheels attached, I would reinforce that for example.

Basically, I dont want to be like "I wish I had done (x) while I was putting it together".

Thank you guys! Pics appreciated!

$99...how can you beat that. I don't have a cart yet...need to make some space first; garage is just jam packed.

Just wanted to say, congrats on the .22's! I'm a gunsmith, so if you ever have any questions, just send me a PM. .22's are a passion for me; probably need a 12 step program for them.

Also, I'm an SK fan, and I personally think the X wrenches are just gimicky.

I thought I hadn't seen that avatar in a while. Welcome back.

Those carts are solid. I overloaded the hell out of mine working in a truck shop with rough floors, and only issue was popping a rivet from the bottom drawer and slide. Small screw & nut fixed that and kept on going.

I added a sunex prybar holder and shelf, and a Blue Point handle to the lid. Never did the gas shocks mod.

Sold it for what I had into it after moving and being in between jobs (made it very clear it wasn't a Snap-on cart). I'd buy another in a heartbeat if I was in a shop and not a service truck.

The SK wrenches were all good, i like them... except that my 13 opened up and the ratchet mechanism gets stuck. Useless.

The rimfire fun im having is from a new non scoped henry classic, a 90's 5.5 browning buckmark and a scoped marlin xt22.

We've had other cool cars come by his week, like these 2:

Aside: Can GJ please resize the pictures to auto-fit?

On-Topic: I got the same cart. It is flimsy but it doesn't move in my apartment. I grab a basket of tools that I need and head out to my driveway to work on my car.

I've had the same cart for over a year, works great. Ihateminimumwage, where did you get the shelf? The only regret I have was not getting the red cart so I could get the shelf.

It's a Sunex 8009BK, which IIRC was around $25-30ish when I bought it 4 years ago, but looking now the price has jumped up to $47-65. Yikes.

The prices on these carts are back down too 99 bucks w/ coupon, for awhile they were a little more.
Yep about 149.99 without coupon. The 5 drawer cart goes down to 149 with coupon. I haven't seen it go down tho.

I think that's the cart I'm going to buy when I make enough room in the garage to accommodate a cart.
The guys here at GJ convinced me to buy the 4 drawer cart and I have a small apt. Stow away all my tools nicely.....for now.

No regrets.
