Picked up a new to me toolbox yesterday. Have a few questions:

1. Any idea on brand/model?
2. Source for replacement key/lock? It did not come with a key.
3. How do I remove the stickers (there are a bunch inside too) without damaging the paint?

1. Nope.

2. is there a 3 digit code on the face of the lock? if yes, most locksmiths can cut a key.

3. a heat gun should loosen the stickers up for removal. WD40 or goo off will remove the residue. However, that box could be 50 or so years old and it's not like it's powder coated.

The stickers add character, and it looks good. IMO
Look on the back for any stamped model numbers. Or maybe inside a drawer. or on outside of drawer when you pull one out to clean it up.

That lock looks like any generic cabinet lock, pop it out and take it to a locksmith. They'll either have a key code for it a replacement lock that will interchange with the one you have. As for removing the stickers a heat and plastic scrapers followed by some Goof Off, 3M Adhesive Remover or WD-40 will get the adhesive off. Most likely when you get the stickers off you'll have darker red areas that match the outline of the stickers.

For the make of box, maybe Remline, Waterloo, Beech or MBC.
