I think I over paid, but I'm not sure. Anyone have an idea of how much it's worth?

The pictures looked fine, and they don't come up often so I made the 75 minute drive to look at it. But when I got there to look at it, it was much worse than he made it out to be.

When I got there he gave me the familiar story about why he needs money and after hearing that I decided I wasn't gonna talk him down further. I had already talked him down from $400 to $200. After thinking it over a few minutes, I decided since I was already in it $30 in gas and 2 1/2 hours I'd take it.

Now you don't have to worry about scratching it. Its a tool box not a classic car. I like to use my stuff not polish it. You did good. Hell come to think of it I dont spend much time polishing my cars either.

I've been eying the Ball Bearing Griplatch Craftsman side box that goes with my set. New they want $300.00. I just haven't seen any type of side box in my local craigslist. I'm sure that cabinet new was over $500.00... but one of the snapon truck guys can make a better estimate.

the same one is for sale here. he wants $275 which i still think is fair considering how rare it is for a snappy side box to show up

Probably over $2k new.

It's the rust that worries me. All those little rust spots in the front are in some of the drawers, on the sides, and top. With a few big rust circles up to 2". But hey, if it's not a concern I'll be happy to pay to get it painted to stop the spread.

I'm glad I posted, I'm starting to feel better about it already. lol

it's got ball bearing slides like my heritage series except w/o the quick release. How do they come off?
