Cost me a couple of bucks , works fine although it needs a new paint job and a bit of oil on the moving parts.

My camera is too cheap to pick it up but on the clasp is written
Cheney
England

I could not find anything about that company on google , only came up with pictures of the neocon Cheney:lol_hitti

Anyone know anything about Cheney toolboxes?

Yeah , the workers there actually keep the best stuff for themselves.
It's kept in an enclosed compound waiting for the staff to take it home:lol_hitti

Sanded it back , sprayed the primer then the metallic blue.I did originally want to paint the latch chrome as the original chrome was too rusted and pitted to restore but the chrome spray paint at the store was a little over 20 bucks so skipped that. Then just a clear lacquer over the spray paint and some oil on the hinges.

The latch was awkward to paint since it was hard to get the painters tape to cover it properly due to the shape of the latch so i just covered the latch with blu-tak.:lol_hitti

They probably just don't give a **** at the factory.
If i was getting paid 30 cents an hour i wouldn't.
Still , that shows you the level of quality control in those places.
