Happened to stop by the dollar store this evening and was wondering around when I saw these. I have a couple of the craftsman made ones and they are much better than the steel ones. These, along with the craftsman have a little bb/spring to hold the sockets so they don't fall off. Doesn't seem to be very much difference between these and the craftsman branded ones, except that these were only 99cents each.

I use the Hansons for my sockets but these I use for the extra stuff and seldom used stuff. Cant beat it for 99cents!

What is the exact name of the store? And how about the name of the product and the UPC codes (so I an call and see if they have them). Thanks.

I'm really looking for those things in individuals, Harbor Freight sells them in threes (1/4, 3/8, 1/2) and I have way too many 1/4", plus those short 1/2" ones would be nice to put the 1/4" holders on. The funny thing is I was just in a parking lot of a Dollar Store (not sure which one there are so many similar named ones) to turn around, I thought about running in but didn't, damn it!

Can you get the UPC code number (bar code number), it would make it easier to find them? Thanks.

You got anything else you can post that you can buy that I can't? Just kidding, but if anyone knows where to find these in Illinois, NW Indiana or SE Wisconsin let us know where.

Still waiting on the UPC number off the items, looks like this:

Might make it easier to locate them, manufacturer's name would be nice as well, thanks.

They are, I buy these type ones at Harbor Freight (always with the 20% off coupon), when they are that cheap they're not making money on them and the chances of getting hurt from a Chinese socket rack are pretty slim and if they fail/break it's no big deal. Add to that that I have more sockets than you could imagine, I can't really afford to pay $3 - $5 for something I use to store rarely used sockets. On top of that I don't really consider them tools.
