I got a great deal on some new grinders off Craigslist. I got 5 Metabo angle grinders and 1 Milwaukee die grinder. I got 2 6" Metabo WE14-150 Quick, 1 6" Metabo W14-150 Ergo, 1 7" Metabo W23-180, 1 Metabo 9" W23-230 and 1 Milwaukee 5196 die grinder. All the Metabo grinders came with factory installed twist-lock connectors. I got the grinders, 20 new carbide burrs, 10 5" SAIT grinding wheels and 3 9" Norton grinding wheels for $560. I have never used Metabo tools so I am curious how they will compare to my Fein grinder. They appear to be well made and they are smooth running.

metabo are top of the line in my book... we use them in the pipe fitting trade... hardly ever use a torch to cut pipe anymore if there is a Metabo within walking distance... mostly 6" or 7" and use .040 cutting discs... My chop saw at home sits gathering dust since I got my metabo... long lasting and will outwork dewalt, milwaukee and rest hands down... you got a good deal

When I saw the ad in Craigslist I thought the grinders were used. Even used the price was good at $60 each so I went to look at them. When I got there I saw that they were all brand new - never even turned on. The ad was for 2 of the 6" grinders, but the seller asked me if I was interested in other stuff he had for sale. As happens so many times I ended up getting more than I had originally intended. The deal was just too good to pass up.

Never used a Metabo but the $30 B&D grinders from Wal-Mart work awesome as well. Almost better than my $200-300 "pro" ones... Milwaukee, Makita, etc.

Is that 560 for everything pictured?

$560 for the 5 Metabo grinders and the Milwaukee die grinder plus 3 9" Norton grinding wheels, 10 4.5" grinding wheels, 20 German and USA made carbide burrs. Checking the internet for best prices I could find on these items the cost came to about $1900 without shipping. I could not find the grinders with the twist lock connectors either. That could easily add another $100 to the cost.

The Techwrenches alone are worth a new tool box :D

I paid about $1200 for those Techwrenches pictured. I have 4 more not pictured -
3 ATECH3FR250 and 1 ATECH2FR100. Some more cases of not being able to pass up a great deal. I really need to sell some of these.
