Saw them next the Northern tool on sunday so I went back today and picked up 5 of them for $8 each. the largest was 42"x84" the other four were 36"x82". Now I just need some ideas of what to do with them.

Use for a workbench! I got some from habitat restore the other month. I have a workbench in progress steeve-o style with scrap toolboxes from work. I started a build thread the other month that I'll resurrect eventually...

If the veneer is damaged, peel it off, stain/paint and finish with poly. Here's my bench in progress:

Solid core doors are very stable and truly flat, which makes them good for extending around a table saw, or for use with a miter saw station.

Edit: in general anything related to woodworking/carpentry where a nice flat surface is needed (assembly table, router table, drill press table...)

Two will become part of a peminant work bench, the biggest I would like to make into a mobile work table. Maybe a fold down table or two.

I posted this in another thread. I have been using a solid core door atop two 2-drawer file cabinets for my electronics test bench. Put industrial steel shelves atop the door.
