Any pics of the place?

This is as close as I can get to pics of the place. The superratchets were to the right of the tractor, under roof but open air. The other shed at least had walls. The rest we dug out of collapsed buildings or in the case of the Reed, just in the woods. I could only get one mounting bolt off the vice. I rotated it for leverage and ripped the other bolt through 1/8" plate by hand.....it was a lot of rust.

I hate finding those situations where good tools are wasting away. You saved a few though.

I haul scrap iron and clean up farms. I have cleaned up several farms were the parents died and the kids just want the stuff gone. Most of the time the owners got up in years and slowly stoped takeing care of stuff. One heart breaker was a farm owned by a mecanic that had a shop in town. There were buildings that the roof had gave out years ago. There were tool boxes that the drawers wouldnt open and once open what was inside couldnt be recognised. One building had 3 wrench rolls under a table they were sets of bluepoint wrenches rusted together.Most of the time i dont find much good stuff because its a older guys stuff and they didnt have alot of good stuff. It will be a diffrent deal when are genaration dies off because of all stuff we think we cant live with out. But theres nothing like being at a farm and geting to look through stuff that no one has seen for years and knowing that i can buy it cheap.
