I bought the Panasonic CF D1 tablet used (nice big 13" screen), the Pico automotive 2 channel scope was cheap and unused from eBay, free software from Picoscope and I already have all the probes, current clamps and accessories from other scopes I've previously owned. The tablet connects to a mobile 4G LTE thingymabob in the van so I can download waveforms and look up tech info/diagrams on the Toughbook.

I had to modify the handle a little bit to get it to fit.

It's heavy, but I think it will be pretty rugged compared to the Laptops I've destroyed over the years

I would like to find a 90 degree USB connection for the tablet end it to make it less vulnerable (no luck yet with that.)

Pico makes a shielded right angle adapter cable, I got mine from Jarhead Diag. 20250412_111249.jpg

The tablet has downsides, but it's much more practical than a laptop overall IMO.

Awesome, I will ask Warwick Test Supplies to see if he can get me one in his next shipment, Pico UK don't seem to ever have it in stock 👍

Nice set up BTW ❤️
