I'm not really interested in fixing it, because this is just my basement workshop, but I want to know what went wrong, so I can do a better job on my garage. I used Rustoleum Epoxyshield Professional. I mixed it with a drill attached mixer for a few minutes, then let it sit for 30 minutes. Then I did another quick mix before starting to cut in the edges and roll it out.
There is a few spots where the color is lighter and the sheen is different. Was this just because I didn't mix it enough? Should I mix it further before each time that I pour it into the paint tray?
In the beginning, there were large sections that were a different shade:
