Cool drill.

FWIW - It looks like the ground pin on the plug is missing. It'll work fine like that, but if there's a short to the metal case you might be the path of least resistance for the current. :shocking:

Great stuff, thanks for the pics.

In the photo with the crescent and the pipe wrench, what is the thing at the top, is that another type of adjustable wrench? I have never seen one like that.

PBR opener - awesome. I remember how unique those ads were back in the mid 70s when I was growing up.

Dad bought me my first toolbox and some starter tools just like the one you have shown. Your thread brings back some good memories.

why did our parents instill "engrave your SS" on things.

More so, 30 years later, how have you not decided to refrain from posting your SS online?

Identity theft is no joke!

Wait, is that a phone number?

The police used to recommend engraving the SSN on everything for ID if it is stolen. I have a number of tools with my SSN on them. As I stumble into them, I've been carefully blending out the number with a dremel tool and sanding disc. It is tedious but works OK. Problem is, I keep finding things I missed.

Proper name is "monkey wrench". Is an old style adjustable wrench pretty much replaced by the "crescent wrench". Still have some of the larger ones useful for plumbing repairs and other large nuts. (hmmm, maybe we need a few of these in Washington, D.C.)
