Use a table saw, you get a nice straight cut and will only have to adjust the saw for each side of the garage.

The racedeck went down pretty quickly: 2 guys installing while my sister-in-law handed them the tiles. All I had to do was keep the barbeque and the drinks coming!

Yes, use a table saw to cut the edge tiles.
You do want to have 1/2" to 3/4" gap between the tile and the wall. This stuff needs space to expand. When the sun is shining on tile, you can literally see the floor grow.
