Pictures no opening full size

Anyone else experience this phenomenon? When I click on photos (even my own) in a thread, I just get a dark gray box open, but the photo never loads and I can't back out of it.

I think this is pretty recent. I don't think this was happening a week ago.

Apologies if I just haven't been paying attention and this already a known issue.

I've seen it happen before. Why ? I don't know but seems to correct itself. Maybe a server issue ?

Ya it's an off and on problem for me too. Not just here though, it happens on different forums too.
