Why are some pictures show up in threads and some don't. Most of the threads I open says there are pictures but none show up.

Sometimes people add pictures via a link to a source URL and as the thread gets older the picture is no longer available/deleted at the original source URL or the source URL changes. I assume that's the issue you're referring to.

you need to be logged in to get some of the pictures. are you logged in and still not getting to see the pictures?

also some pictures were posted via an online account like Photobucket and others and if the person cancelled their account or deleted those pictures then they are showing up as an X now.

i am logged on when i look. Most of the threads, you can see a space between lines, indicating a picture was there. However, there's nothing, box with x or anything. It looks like someone wrote a sentence added a few line spaces and then wrote another sentence.
