Seems like a good unit but I wish the clamps were better. I demo'ed them at Lowes and left without much confidence.

The Pilot Instaboost has been at the $79.00 price since Black Friday. However, if your local Lowe's will honor the HF 20% coupon, it will indeed be a great deal!

One thing I found out about the Instaboost is that the 12V output will only support 10A portable air compressors. I own one. However, it requires 14.5 amps. As a result, I cannot replace my current 18 lbs JNC 4000 jump starter with an under 1 lb Instaboost model.
