Bought this pink snap on tool in 2013 and never put it in the store. Sat in my garage and held tools waiting to be processed. Well I sold the box that occupied that space and had nothing else to put there. Boxes on display do double duty as store fixtures and are full of tools for sale so I always have to have one to replace any we sell.

Yes its an oddball and most wouldn't buy it but there will be someone, most likely a woman, who has to have it so it will sell at some point

Can't wait to here customer comments😁

What sort of comments are you wanting?

Where's your doilies? Is this drawer for the tea set?

I was never that impressed with the pink boxes, but the tools, meant people didn't like to borrow them. I've gone as far as buying some tools for work, and painting them pink, so they wouldn't wander off.

While that's not my taste, I can absolutely see someone buying that for a premium due to the rarity and uniqueness.

I worked with several guys who would be happy to rock a pink box.

I have been on more than one job site where the company tools were painted pink. The idea being, that they would be less likely to be stolen… and if they were you could tell which ones were company tools…

This was decades ago. We psychologically terrorized the guys that seemed to be triggered by pink tools. You definitely cannot pull that **** anymore… it seemed fun at the time…

Now, since pinkwashing, nobody seems to give a **** if anything is pink. The guys that have anything pink usually know someone who died of, is living with, or is a survivor of cancer…

I don’t think that I would ever choose a pink box… if it came up so cheap that I could not say no… I would buy it. I do not mean a good deal, I mean a ******* steal.

If you are afraid of a color, you are backwards. I lived in a small town. I know plenty of regular guys who would be terrified to have a pink box… I also know a few guys that would never own a yellow car because they associate the color with fear and weakness… good guys, but backwards… there are more people like this than you think. You cannot change these people… they just have an outdated idea of what it means to be a man.

The color that I dislike is **** brown… but I have seen cars that looked great that were painted this color.

Kind of sad that people feel their manhood is attacked by a color and are embarrassed by it.

It wouldn't be my first choice, but for the right deal? Sure. Bonus points for making my kids smile.

I regularly wear a pink silicone ring and a t-shirt with a unicorn because they love it. Screw anyone that judges another person because of the color of something

Not pink but look at my signature picture. Yep I drive a turquoise car.

Purple was the color of royalty for centuries.

I don’t understand people who feel their identity is defined by a color.

I like some colors more than others, sure, but I don’t feel like I’m any more or less of a man if I have pink or blue stuff.

I have some pink shirts and ties I wear occasionally and it makes some guys visually uncomfortable to be near them. I wore a pink tie in my wedding. Whatever.

I do not think that turquoise or seafoam or teal… have any of the old fashioned connotations that pink and yellow have.

Your car is badass… a darker color with a lighter color just pops. I like 50’s cars with bottle green and mint green.

Ooh… I have a vintage example of pink that pops… a vintage dark grey (really dark) with that old peachy pink color that people used to paint front doors. I have seen tri-5 Chevys rocking this combo. I do not think that people see vintage peachy pink the same way that they see Mamie Eisenhower pink.

You could do a wrap on that to tone it down.. grey looks good with pink accents. Or if you really want to go girlie, purple.

Oh I am sure I am going to get a lot of grief about the girlie color but it will start some conversations also.

I have a wall of oddity tools that start conversations also.

Can't hurt to have unusual stuff in a store.

As to masculinity and color, I was told that in Latin cultures that pink is a masculine color

I think you're thinking of the Shadow gray and Coral(pink) 55 Chevy combo. It's a nice combo. Not for me but nice looking together.

Those colors, but the one I saw had the colors reversed. It was mostly grey, with the peach on the back and roof.

And the interior was dark. I prefer that since I know that I would mess up a light colored interior. I am bad enough, but my 11 year old could mess up an anvil.

I’d rock that box, pink doesn’t bother me. I’m not going to buy a pink car or motorcycle but somethings look damn good in pink. I’ve got several shirts, socks, some shoes have pink on them.

I play disc golf and a very large portion of 300+ disc are some shade of pink.

Many years ago, there was a shirt trend, Hypercolor shirts. One of the most popular was Pink to purple.

Then as a kid, I had a matchbox/hot wheels drag car that was Panther Pink. (don't remember but think it was a Challenger.

I worked with a guy 10 years ago that wanted to buy a pink box from Snap on but they wouldn't make him one. He ended up with a pink MAC box.
