Pioneer 36,000 Mini Split Head unit fan problem

I've tried all the pioneer customer service places I can find with no answers:
When on heat settings the fan works perfect on all speeds. But, when on the cool setting I start to have a problem. This started on day 1, unit is now 2 months old. When on turbo or high fan setting fan blows air all across the unit, but on low or medium settings the unit will start to only blow air out about 6 inches of each end of the fan, none in the middle and unit will not keep up with temp setting. I can turn unit off for 1 second and right back on and it will blow all across unit so I know it's not icing up and screens are perfectly clean, it even does it with screens temporarily removed., then after a while revert back to blowing on both ends. It's like the air density from heat to cool is causing a change and building up pressure in the middle of the fan and forcing air to come out only the ends. I see some of the other units have a fan on both ends and none in the middle. I have 120 PSI at the port.
Surly I'm not the only one with this problem. I hate to mess with it, but thinking about removing 4" of the fan blades in the middle or putting a dam in the middle of the fan. Looks like an engineering problem. Any thoughts or help.

That is a very odd issue. Just a heads up. pioneer is junk, dont ever use anything other that Fujitsu, Mitsubishi or daikin. Cheap equipment is no good.

Sure... Based on?

OP:

What’s the measurement between the top of the unit and the ceiling ?

What is the position of the louver(s) when in cooling mode ?
