Pioneer mini split question - frost protection

I'm looking at installing a couple 18k BTU Pioneers in my 24x36 shop (one upstairs and one down).

In the winter, I typically keep the shop at 40-44 degrees when I am not out there, and warm it up when I go out to work.

How exactly does the temp setting work for heat? What ranges of temps are available? I cannot seem to find this info in the manuals.

According to the manual for their WYS line, there is a freeze protection function which sets the unit at ~ 47*F.
