Pioneer Mini Split

I’m looking for help getting a main control board for my wys series pioneer. The board has been on back order with High Seer they said it might be faster if I locate one myself they gave me some part numbers to look for 17222000009270 and a upgraded board that will work 17222000A23549 going on 60 days and I’m starting to get warm anybody have any ideas?

Find out who the manuf Rep is in your area and ask who is stocking parts. They may be able to help. Your alternative is to request good pricing on a replacement evap. Gettin’ warm down there.

They are giving me a ship date of 08/28/2020 if that doesn’t happen then they would offer a discount on outside unit.

Is the system under warranty? How long is Pioneers warranty? If it is a warranty item and they don't have parts, I'd be pissed!

Did you check that inline fuse on that board? That looks awful similar to the board is my granddads pioneer and I've had to replace that fuse enough that it's now in a removsble socket.

Just an FYI. Most conventional split systems (not mini splits) have a 10 year parts warranty. Tough pill to swallow. I'd think a new condenser unit would be about the same price as that board. Which looks like an inverter/vfd for the compressor?

Ship date may be 8/28, but delivery may be, will be....who knows. I have parts orders in with two known vendors, who are reliable 3-6 day delivery. Currently, 21 days for one and 18 for another. They made it to the local center and tracking disappeared. I have communicated with my Congressional rep and Senators expressing my outrage. I have also contacted both companies, with whom I have good personal relations expressed my regrets that they have become unreliable vendors.

60 days is way beyond acceptable.

Both parts orders left the companies within 24 hours of placement. The problem is the bottleneck at the USPS. I spoke with my local mailman and he said they have mass quantities of backed up mail that they are not able to get out with their current work rules.

I've got 2 out of 3 Priority Mail packages that are late right now.

Previous USPS screw up. Ordered mower blades 2nd week of July. They became "lost", no tracking info after shipping label created and were picked up by USPS. Shipper sent another package 2nd week of August. Arrived in about 5 days. Next day, the July shipment showed up. USPS both packages.

This is a possibility. Had a voltage regulator board blow out on a Coleman generator. Found a vendor that actually had redesigned the weak points and offered a custom board. Found the listing by the OEM part number.

pricey, though, but that was just the first site I saw. AHHH - no longer in stock, never mind.

UPDATE!
I have not received my board from High Seer I placed the order in July was charged for on 8/4/20 I’m getting close to the 90 day dispute limit on my credit card High Seer said they will not refund my money or give me a deal on another unit so I’m interested in opinions on what to do. The only option the give is just be patient.

dispute the charge for non-delivery and move on to another unit, or buy a used one on eBay for parts.

Created an account just to update this with what I have found.

I had same board with an E1 issue. My unit was bought from Amazon and has a 5 year warranty. The PCB was replaced by the Warranty Service Department at Parker Davis HVAC International, Inc.

They may also let you purchase the part from them.
