Pipe clamp kits yes. Bar clamp "kit" ? No ?

Looking around a bit with not much luck. Lots of makers of pipe clamp kits out there but I can't find any for a bar clamp. You'd think someone made them to use 1 1/2" or 2" x 1/4" flat bar or something ?
Has anyone run into any ?

Don't the bars have square cut knurling on one edge?

Other way here, you can hardly find a pipe clamp kit, all ours either come complete with bars or T sections fitted or are clamp heads meant to be used on a 1" section.

I sure don't recall seeing them, not as a kit. For that matter I've never seen anything to suggest they exist. Pipe clamp kits on the other hand, no problem. I'm sure you've checked Rockler.com. That's where I'd start my search. I am forever watching Craigslist for a deal on clamps. Still waiting.

Yeah. Still digging but not too deep.
I suppose I can just get a couple short sized used ones and gut them, then buy my cold roll bar stick, drill it and gidder dunn.
Nah 2oolhunden. The knurled are usually seen on the toy types for wood projects

Never seen a kit, it would be near possible to ensure the head was on square and yea most have knurling on the bar.

Try looking in a B Line Catalog under strut supports or under under pipe hangers for double bolt clamp or riser clamp. Hope this helps cpb

Not exactly a kit but Hargrave made some really robust bar clamps that use pretty much a standard flat bar. Not super easy to find but sometimes they come up reasonable. Good stout clamps. Something similar could be fabbed up. Ed.

Those will do it,I think. I found some Mexican ones but the foot is short like a pipe clamp. THose Hargraves are the ticket

Probably somewhat rare, but if you come across one of these Grand pipe clamps the foot is longer than the more common pipe clamp. They make a similar C clamp as well.
