What are you guys using for sealing ng lines? Rectorseal, or something else? Thanks.

I have seen a lot of pipe dopes that work for plumbers around here. Some of them have also worked on houses Mike Holmes sees from the messes they have left in some houses. Rectorseal makes one especially for NG that most plumbing supply houses would have.

Thanks, that's what I have on hand, says it's good for gas, just didn't know if anyone had been using it.

We have used Megaloc for years. It is not as sticky, and you can wash it off your clothes if you happen to get it on you.

This. For what it's worth though, I use Oatey Megaloc every day. Good stuff.
