Pipe Fitting Adapter, 1" NPT

I need to get an adapter that is 1" NPT female on one end and that I can shove 3/4" plastic pipe into the other end.

Hardware store doesn't have one and I don't seem to be finding anything on Amazon.

PVC plastic is fine, Sch 40 or other

Cheap, and I don't want to pay $8 shipping for a $2 part.

Without knowing what you’re using it for, you’re probably better off with a 3/4” male adapter and a 1” x 3/4 bell reducer.

It takes two common fittings. Don't waste a bunch of time tracking down something uncommon.

1" pvc female adapter and 1x3/4 pvc bushing. Any hardware or box store should have both.

Be aware though, anyone with piping experience avoids pvc female adapters like the plague as they are known for splitting on the female threaded end. Sometimes when being tightened and sometimes at some point in the future after installation. If connecting pvc to steel pipe, for example, using a pvc male adapter and a steel coupling makes a far more reliable connection.
