I have some pipe fitting tools for sale. I doubt any GJ users in western Canada will be interested but I would appreciate some indication of what these tools are worth. These were my fathers tools and he has passed.
When I was young, I threaded a lot of pipe for him. I've probably threaded a lot more pipe with them than he did. I used to make $2.25 per hour in the mid 1970s. Nice money for a 10 year old. Anyway, I've threaded my last pipe. I won't be keeping these.
I wonder if they have any value at all, with modern power vices, etc.
Mueller reamer - this is big, probably can ream to 4" pipe, or so
Ridgid die - This die has 4 selectable sizes. It doesn't have a lot of use. It's still plenty sharp.
Pipe vise and base - This pipe vise is mounted to a table and legs. The legs can detach for easy mobility.
I'm in Regina, Saskatchewan but I also get to Calgary regularly and can deliver to several places.
Again, an opinion of value would be appreciated. If the only value these have is as scrap steel, that is worth knowing also.
Thank you for your time.
