Pipe vice

Moved in November had a pile of my fathers pipe tools. Guess this vice is at least 75 years olSold house back in November had my father's pipe tools in bucket in my shed. Moved them to another house finally after 30 years went though them. Looked at GJ vice information couldn't find anything. Hi lighted all the raised markings.

my first guess would be

Toledo / Toledo Pipe Thread Machine Co., Toledo, OH / pipe wrench, pipe threading tools / later "Toledo-Beaver" / acquired or merged with Borden Co., Warren, OH ? /

but their catalogs show a model 1A to be a different device.

Trimont used a completely different part numbering system.

The two distinctive design features on this vise are the cast T-handle adapter that is pinned to the screw, and the simple, rectangular mounting plate with the ribbed reinforcements.

I couldn't find references to the circle-T logo. Trimont made pipe tools, but all the vises I see may be later versions with a similar, but different handle system.

I know….. in Britain they spell it both ways….but still, “pipe vice”… LOL.
