My dad past about a month ago, and we have been slowly cleaning out the 40+years of, well to put it lightly, "collecting" in the house and various out buildings. I found these in an old red painted tool box. wiped them down with some MMO, and gonna hang in the garage.

Also found a few old Craftman boxes I'm gonna try do redo, a mess of random tools, every broken thing for the past 30 years, and I'm sure there's more.

Sorry for your loss. That old rigid second from right is really cool looking. I don't recall seeing one of that style before. At least you have plenty of things around to help his legacy live on ;)

Those are some neat wrenches even if you never have a use for them. I cherish the mix of tools I got from both of my grandfathers, even if I've never used some of them.

You need a wrench to get potatoes out of the ground? :dunno:

OP, sorry for your loss, and great tools from your old man.

My friends family farms potatoes in Austria, and use a BIG machine....and they always have to separate the rocks. I asked how the hell they still get rocks after decades of doing it and why don't you just go get all the rocks out at once. She tells me they come up from the earth! :dunno:

You would be surprised how many times I've needed a wrench while in a potato field :lol_hitti

Grimme harvesters don't break often but when they do it's generally in a grand fashion.

I remember him aways having tools, and plus growing up, we bought him tools for every birthday/Fathers day/Christmas present. I'm sure we will find more as we clean up around the farm.
Thanks as well for your condolences.
