Pipe wrench jaws

Do straight and offset (90°) ridgid pipe wrenches use different dynamic/moving hook jaws? It looks like it based on online part numbers. But why would this be? Trying to figure out if i can put a jaw and nut from a straight wrench on an offset handle.

The offset handles dont seem say made in usa for some reason, though they do say Elyria, OH.

Well, I purchased a couple, and it appears as though they are not. Looks like the off set jaws are just slightly narrower.
