Nothing real special here, just found an ugly old tool and made it serviceable again.
Saw this crusty, nasty 24" pipe wrench on a rack of stuff at an auction. I was able to look around all the encrusted gunk and make out "RIDGID Made in USA" on the handle.
I got it for $3 as apparently nobody else bothered to look under the gunk.
I took it home and spent a fair amount of time glass beading it in my blast cabinet. Once cleaned up, I painted it with some red paint that I happened to have on hand.
I know Thomas Payne would have probably went the powder coat route, but this is fine for my purposes.
Second picture shows the final result. I also cleaned up a 10" Ritco that I picked up in a box of stuff from another auction.
