I am slowly acquiring a pretty healthy collection of pipe wrenches (18" - 48") , threader die ratchets, threaders, most of which are steel and most of which are currently sitting in a 5 gallon bucket in my work trailer.
I would love to find a more efficient way of organizing/hanging them. I like the idea of the sections of deep strut to hang pipe wrenches on, but have roughly a 4' x 4' wall area to hang 2x 18", 2x 24" 2x 36" and 2x 48", in addition to 3x threader die ratchets and an older all in one adjustable threader, so looking for something that could hold a lot of weight, could stay organized even after transporting the trailer over rough roads (Montana winters = LOTS of washboard and potholes come spring!)
I have access to a welder and thinking of making a heavy "peg board" with 3/8" x 6" strap steel running horizontal with a series of 1/4" and 3/8" pegs through-welded on it at a slight upward angle. This will allow me to get several fasteners into multiple structural ribs of my trailer while somewhat distributing the weight over a larger surface area, all well keeping the overall weight down.
Would love to know other peoples thoughts or solutions to this.
