Has anyone ever seen the attached mark on a Pipe Wrench, specifically a chain type pipe wrench? There are at least 7 patents, reported by DATAMP to have never been produced, that the TM pertains to. I would think that if they went through the trouble of submitting a TM, they must have produced it. My "BET" is that it was produced by Layne & Bowler out of Houston, and after 1916, Memphis.
Here are links to a couple of the patents so you can also see what the wrenches may have looked like:
1. M. E. Layne 1908
2. S. N. Hall 1916
