Pipeliner Grill

I have just finished up building a Pipeliner grill out of 13" casing. this is my first attempt a pipe fitting. I am a self taught welder that is still learning. I read this post on the Welding web of a guy showing how to draw the templet and build this little grill. Can not remember his log on name, Sorry. but it was a very well written article with lots of good Pic's. While this is well outside the box for me, I thought I would have a go at it. So here's some Pic;s . I have been a long time lurker here but have never posted. So here goes.

That is great geometry! Nice work with the pattern and layout. So you weld it all up and then slice open the cover?

Thanks to all for the nice comments. And to matts question yes weld it up. Partially cut door weld on hinges finish cutting doors.

Nice work brother .I used to be a pipeliner so of course I had to try my hand at building a few cookers. I still have one around somewhere. I'll see if I can find it and take a few pics.

It is so satisfying to figure out what angle to use and where to make the cut/s. There is theory and there is real world.
What you have shown here is a great example of how to take a project to the conclusion.
