Pistol pump oiler leaking

DUTTON-LAINSON Goldrod oiler. 30+ years old. Oil drips out the nozzle all the time. Is there some adjustment to stop that?

Since the spout is flexible, can't you just bend it upwards when you are done using it?

I guess but it doesn't bend up higher than horizontal.

Well at 30 years old..... I would say give a rest..... empty the oil and set it on a shelf.. And get a new one..

Well, I probably only used it 4 or 5 times. Found in a car I bought back then. Not like it's worn out.

It looks like it could only drip the little bit of oil where the flex tube bends down at the 1/2 way point. I wouldn't think it would actually siphon oil from the bottom of the pick-up tube. It should stop dripping after that little bit has dripped out. You could unscrew the flex hose and see if it still seeps oil.
