Greetings. We've primarily been using this product to broadcast acrylic flakes into, but recently we gave it a shot, in solid form, in our shop. Upon applying the 1st coat, we noticed it "pitted" everywhere, so I called SW, they said if we had a fan running, that was the problem. We killed the fan on the 2nd coat and same problem.

Thus, in going forward, since SW didn't tell me what needed to know, I'm wondering if you guys know?

Btw, when we laid this down, the temp was 65F outside/63 in, and we reduced the TC with 10% of SW 54, on both coats.

Thanks all.

Dave

Are you sure its not just pin holes in the concrete that you were not able to see. How are you applying it? Roller, spray?

Silicone will cause "cat faces". An open tube in the room will cause it. Not cleaning new tools can create problems as they sometimes spray a thin coat of silicone on them. A lot of "dirty solvents" will cause the epoxy not to level out. A fan huh? Jeeze....
