Pittsburgh Pro Ratchet Question - Missing part?

When I opened my 3/8 and 1/2 Pittsburgh pro ratchets to lube them, I notice the 3/8 did not have the stainless spring ring between the anvil and cover plate. This is on the low profile red and black handle version. The thicker head quick release ones do. It takes up the play inside the ratchet preventing the anvil from twisting under torque.

Has anyone opened there low profile ratchet and found this ring? It is present on the 1/2" red and black handle versions.

Who lubes HF ratchets ?

I lube them. 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 drives.Twice a year weather they need it or knot.

Low profile pro versions or regular? Did they have the ring inside?

I lubed them when I got them and I doubt I'll ever need to again as they sit idle. But they are very nice for the money. Op, I know the issue your talking about, as for the slop in the anvil. I am not sure about the spring being in all of them or not. I have 5 or 6 but I haven't opened one in a long while. There are a few tear downs on youtube that might be a help to see if they have the parts as well. HF also does some much part# swapping, lack of QC and changing factories... that Maybe the first run had them and the second run didn't its HF so it hard to tell.
