The ones made in Taiwan.

I say you have to buy US made tools to get better, and not all the U.S. Made stuff is really better. My 6 point sockets are tough, and the finer tooth ratchets just think they're made by Snap On.

I just think the Taiwanese Pitts Pro is the absolute best thing Harbor Freight has going for them.

I have watched a few torture tests on those rats and I was impressed. Once they release a green version, well then all bets are off.

Yes for the price they function very nice. Fit and finish wise is where you can see a noticeable difference.

ive been using the 1/4" drive composite for years at work.. at one point i was planning to buy 2 more, because i got tired of swaping sockets onto the same ratchet when i only use about 3 sizes.. the original ratchet was so beat up, i just wanted a new one - so i went to the fleet mechanic and told him i had a fun job for him.. " break this" i said.. so he put the drive in a vice, and started pulling.. didnt budge.. it took a 200lb person to push all his weight down on it, and the square drive finally tore off.. the action still worked otherwise..
went to HF had the old one replaced, bought 2 more - and have never had an issue with any.
