PIXI LED panel lights

Has anyone seen these PIXI ceiling/wall mount LED panels? If so, any thought on using them in the garage, thinking specifically the bathroom and hobby room with lower ceilings then the garage. A light source that only takes up about 1/2" of head room is VERY appealing.

I looked at the pixi's that Home Depot sells, the color was too warm for me and the reviews were so so online, so I passed on them.

I installed 8 of them in a 21' x 21' garage. They're dimmable with 0-10V dimmers. I love being able to turn down the lights when I don't need the brightness...

I got the commercial 2x2's in 2700k and they were TOO yellow. Ordered 4k and will be returning these. They are SOOOO thin! Needle nose pliers for scale.

^ ^ Recent episode of This Old House had one of those LED panels being installed. Pretty slick solution for low ceiling height . . . . like basement.

commerical 2x2 are about 300 per.

I've looked at them, specifically for a compressor closet I'm currently building. Haven't dug into the specs enough to have an opinion about them yet. They are thin, and the mounting design seems reasonably well thought out. I don't know where they source their LEDs from, though.

But hey, for a closet, they'll probably be fine.

Pretty sure they come in warm white and cool white versions. If you didn't like them because they were too yellow, get the other ones.

(I happen to like that end of the spectrum -- my whole shop is centered around 3000k).
