I bought my 1st set of Snap on screwdrivers in 1987 from Jay Jordan in Garland, Tx. It's easy to remember Jay because I went to school with his kids. Anyway, I worked part time at a motorcycle shop at the time & the boss paid for 1/2. They're black handled & I still have them. I've even got the lapell pin that came with them. IMHO those handles are the best design that Snap On made.

I got my first SO tools as a gift from a SO sales rep back in 1961. the guy was an engineer who sold tools to the fed govt i think. they were a set of black-handled screwdrivers. they've all disappeared over the years.

That could be true if the same guys that browse eBay for screwdrivers are the same guys that play the stock market.

Does it have bit storage in the handle, or do you just carry them in your pocket?
