Thanks to everyone here, I just ordered 2 radiant heating units for my 22' by 22' garage. I am trying to figure out how and where to put them. The ceilings in the garage are 9ft. There is a beam that runs down the center from front to back not side to side. The beam is about 1ft wide by tall,so the bottom of it is about 8ft off the floor. I was thinking about mounting the 2 units on this beam, one about 3 ft from the wall farthest from the overhead doors and the second in about the center of the beam. From what I can tell, this heater can be angled so I'd be able to direct the units a bit. Is this a good way to do this, or is this type of unit more effecient if it's place on the sides facing toward the center or what???

I drew the location of mine, check out mymicrosoft paint skills :lol_hitti

My bench and toolboxes are on the far wall (opposite of the doors) so I have the heater angled towards that area. I'll probably get a second unit, they'll be side to side, maybe 6 feet apart...have to see how wide an area one heater radiates first.
