Well, at least some of the things were copied.
>I like the paint scheme of some others on here, so i copied it. Then i saw about 4 other people with simular. Thats when I wished I had varied it a bit.
>I also like the diamond (deck ) plating as decoration, and copied that.
>I also copied the chains supporting the shelf above the workbench( although mine come in at an angle, instead of straight down)
The rest is just trying to be as space sensitive as possible.
Here are some before and after pictures:

Other features:
The doors with Diamond plating:
My hideaway drawer( look next to the compressor)
I did that because I had a drawer slider laying around, and wanted a unique feature (wife just rolls her eyes, and says "Why?")
I also found a rolling cart at work, that holds files. I took some scrap sheet metal, and created a tray to hold tools while I work on the bike. It has a socket rail riveted to it, and holes drilled for Screwdrivers. On the end, I drilled, cut, and bent a piece of aluminum, that holds T-handle wrenches.
I like the carpet on the floor, as it makes it more tolerable to the cold, and I just vacuum it when i finish a project.
The over the bench shelf was made stronger to accomodate a larger TV.

I put in some recessed lighting I found under a counter top in our kitchen, i didn't know we had til recently. I have had some air plumbed to two places in the garage via pvc. I now understand it is not ideal, but I haven't had any problems yet, and I only run about 100psi. I do get some condensation in it, But after reading some posts here, i understand this could have been limited had I used metal pipe.

Mira Mesa ( near Miramar)
Good access to the Desert and a few tracks for the dirtbikes.
Close to the Ocean for cruising, and the mountains for carving it up on the streetbike

Wow...Ocitillo... sure brings back memories. I pretty much ended my riding days at Milestone last year, but it's ok I'm almost 50 and don't regret any of it. Have you been to the new track at Pala? I really want to go check it out, even if it's just to watch.

I really enjoy Ocotillo Wells, Superstition, McCain Valley. Eve Glamis has some appeal.
I have been to Pala, and I watched my daughters ride the next time we go, I will ride too. I like Barona, and Starwest(Perris, Elsinore too).
I have a shed out back I built fot eh bikes, and only pull them into the garage when I need to work on them. This week I will be putting paddles on the dirtbikes for Glamis Dunes.
