I was noticing the floors in the Lowes the other night, plain concrete with some sort of sealer on it? What sealer do they use.

I also read somewhere(cant remember where) about using boiled linseed oil as a concrete finish. Any thoughts?

I haven't heard of the boiled lindseed oil. But, I did have a guy on one of these message boards tell me UPS uses a mixture of tung oil and kerosene. I'm still searching for the right finish on my garage floor. I have a sealer on it now that was applied very poorly and I'm exploring options. I might have to go rent a bead blaster if available or have it done by a contractor to get my floor ready for a new finish. It's only 2 years old but looks like hell.

I GUARANTEE UPS does not use kerosene...their floors are burnished smooth (like lowe's) and are sealed.

Use an orbital sander to remove the old sealer...do it yourself in an hour or so...they work very fast...
