I just built a Garage on a concrete slab (pic attached). Looking to finally finish the floor so I can start moving all my equipment back in. I bought a kit from Garageflooring.com on black Friday to cover the 1500sqft. Got 5 gallons of SPGX for the base with a gray pigment and another 5 gallons SPGX for the topcoat with 150lbs of flake. Looking for some feedback on a few things.
I have seen others doing epoxy base and polyurea topcoat, is just polyurea durable enough/worthwhile?
Do I have enough material for a full broadcast?
Any tips on the install for anyone who has done a similar job?
Process I'm going to follow (crew of 4 total):
Day 1: Diamond grind and vacuum
Day 2: Tape up edges and apply base coat and flake
Day 3: Scrape/vacuum flake and apply topcoat
