the idea is in my head, i lnow what i want for the last garage i will ever build....But is avoiding a Divorce possible,,,she isn't always wrong ,but Damn,,,i do have a BRAIN

Having built my dream shop 13 years ago and now having to leave it due to a separation,.... If this is a real concern for you build it away from the home and lock down the legals on it so you keep it after the divorce.
Hopefully you are just venting and your marriage is solid, but man it really ***** to walk away from your personal paradise. Good luck.

My wife was a little uneasy during my 30x50 build.

I told her what it would look like, what the family would gain, and an approximate budget.

I was close, except for the budget. She got over it. But My first projects were "family things" for the house and kids.
