Great forum huge amount of knowledge here!
Looking at doing a 36x28 saltbox garage this summer. Due to location I am fairly limited to the size. I want to put in in the same location as my 24x24 with shed on the side.
We get tons of snow here so I need to put the doors on the gable side. Will use corrugated steel roofing similar to my house and tractor shed.
Looking at the in floor scissor lifts that people have used in the high bay area. Hoping to get salt box trusses made that will allow me some storage overhead, thinking I might need a center Flitch beam to help the snow load.
Looking at a 10x10 large door and a 8x8 small door. For the foundation I will probably go with a slab with 1-2ft walls around it.
I have attached a pdf of the initial design thoughts. let me know what you think.
