Planning with existing buried electrical

Closing on ~5 acres down here in South Jersey and would like to start planning for a shop in the neighborhood of 1600sqft

Currently my size and placement limitations are minimal - However, there is a ground mounted solar grid in the back corner of the property which there are buried wires for and I don’t know the exact location or routing.

I don’t own the panels so I would like to avoid disturbing the wiring to them during the build. What is the best way to figure out where I can/cannot build? And what stages is that most critical or would I need to relay that consideration(ie site prep or while digging footings etc)? Can I pour the slab directly on top so long as the footings and site prep don’t affect them?

Thanks in advance guys!

Ayuh,..... Call Dig-safe, 'n ask them to mark the path of the wires,.....
Then stay away from them,..... No, you can't build over them,....

Why would the wires be running across the property? Wouldn't there be an easement required that would clearly show their route?

Dig-Safe/Miss Utility won’t locate private utilities (assuming these are private).

Go to Google Earth, type in your address. At the top is a button to change flyovers. Go back in time and maybe you can see the actual construction or fresh vegetation growth showing the trenched areas.

Ask the owners of the panels for as-built information.

Do the panels have an easement? Panels powering the homesite?
