Plans and drawings

I have been reading the website for a couple of months now and have purchased an architectural drawing program called Profe ssional Home Design Suite Platimun. The plan was to draw up my own garage plans and submit them to a PE for approval and a stamp. Got the PE part set up but I am having a bit of a problem getting the program to show me the framing. There is a Framing Editor, but how do I get it to show me the actual framing, and can this program do sections? Any help is apprecated.

No way of answering that without knowing the software package and it's likely few are familiar with it either. I'm an autocad guy myself. My suggestion is to contact the software company if you can't find it through the help section provided with the software.
