Do yourself a giant favor and get a Hypertherm now, instead of finding out you can't find consumables or support for an Everlast in your area. It is well worth the money to start with a reliable, name brand machine that has parts and support available. What do you want to cut? Where are you planning to use it?

I bought a Thermal Dynamics a few years back for a big restoration job. Supposedly they invented plasma cutting. Its a good machine and runs on 110 and 220. Its not the cheapest machine out there nowadays but not overly expensive either.

If you get something other then a Hyperthem or Thermal dynamics or a common brand like Miller/Hobart, make sure it uses a Triferment torch & consumables, they arent difficult to find.

I have the Everlast PowerPlasma 50S. I got it from Mark@Everlast over on TBN for a pretty discount.

My local welding shop in Ardmore has the consumables for it as does the Hsv/Madison Airgas people. The IPT 60 torch is a pretty stand type torch.

I purchased a Lotos LTP5000D Plasma cutter about 4 months ago. I am a member of a welding forum.Everyone told me to get the Hypertherm bla, bla, bla.Well I did not have a $1000 for one. So after reading many reviews I settled for the Lotos.I have been perfectly happy with it. I just purchased consumables for it thru Walmart. 40 pieces 29.95
