I have a 55 gallon blue one that I installed in 1984 for a septic tank on my shop and have never had it pumped yet, yes it has been used plenty over the years as my wife ran a ceramic shop out there for about 12 years.
I have a 30 gallon blue one that I store Kerosene in for my parts washer and a 55 gallon blue one that is full of new engine oil that I saved from being discarded when a compressor station was switching oil types.
I also have a 55 gallon white one that is laid on its side and the bottom half drilled full of 3/4" holes and a 4" line into the top side. This is buried along side of my motor home shed and is used for the occasional dump when returning from a trip. This has plenty of time to soak into the soil between uses. No fear of these rotting out as the steel ones do.
