I have a good amount of vintage tools and some of them have a good amount of rust on them, i know that the generally accepted thing to do would be to wire wheel them but i was thinking the other day about throwing them in the sand blast that is currently loaded with Urea plastic media.
Its soft enough to not remove the cad plating oh the parts that I have been blasting but i thought to ask because id hate to throw a tool in and have the original finish ruined.
So what do you think?
