whats your favorite/BEST plastics glue?

i must fix a pair of sunglasses i broke,, plastic weld?
a lot of talk on tools, not a ton on supplies

We have a Smart car, which is 90% plastic. Broke rear fender and used regular plumbing pvc glue to fix the mounting tabs, worked like a charm.

Well thats OK if its a hidden join, but if its a colored glue then in wont look good showing up on the mans sunglasses.
It needs to be a clear glue....is pvc glue available in clear?

tried several times to glue glasses but never had great results, the best was super glue with the spray activator.

Superglue in a spray applicator? Sounds dangerous to me. Imagine that in a child's hands...

Stuff I used was, OTAY, I believe, got at Home Depot. YMMV...

Well thats OK if its a hidden join, but if its a colored glue then in wont look good showing up on the mans sunglasses.

I used Gorilla glue on mine. Left a tiny little ugly snot colored bump on the silver ear arm where they're joined but I only use them for jogging. Too lazy to file it nicer.
